501 servitude or service to the said Thomas B Anderson his Executors or administrators forever In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this thirty first day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and thirty one Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of Daniel Hart (seal) James Hunter, Vachel Severe Received on the day of the date within mentioned the sum of Sixty dollars current money it being the full consideration money within mentioned witness James Hunter Daniel Hart Anne Arundel County Sc Be it remembered that on this thirty first day of october 1831 personally appears Daniel Hart Attorney in fact of Thomas B Anderson party to the within Instrument of writing before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the state of Maryland in and for said county and acknowledges the same to be his act and deed for the purposes within mentioned and the negro woman within named to be henceforth manumitted and discharged from all services to the said Thomas B Anderson or to any claiming under him and to be free and manumitted according to the act of assembly in such case made and provided chd acknowledged before James Hunter 10╜ Recorded the 31.st day of October 1831 To all whom it may concern be it known that I Perry wright of Anne Arundel County in the state of Maryland for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving as also in further consideration of five dollars current money to me in hand paid have released from slavery liberated manumitted and set free and by these presents |
