Instrument of writing to be his act and deed according
to the purport true intent and meaning thereof and
the acts of assembly in such cases provided

be it remembered that I Amey Howard of anne
arundel County and State of Maryland for divers
good causes and considerations me thereunto moving have
manumitted liberated and set free and do hereby
manumit liberate and set free from and after the first
day of June 1833 my negroe man named Jim being of the
age of forty one years also I do hereby manumitt and set
free my man Dick being of the age of forty four years
and him I do declare to be henceforth free.  Also I do hereby
manumitt and set free and after the first day of April
1835 my negroe man Gustavus being of the age of 28
yeares also I do hereby manumitt and set free from
and after the 4.th day of January 1831 my negro boy
named Emanuel born on the 4.th day of January 1810
also I do hereby manumitt and set free from and after
the 30.th day of October 1830 my negroe boy Major born on
the 30.th day of October 1812  also I do hereby manumitt
liberate and set free from and after the second day of
December 1835 my negroe boy named Reuben born on 2.nd
day of December 1814  also I do hereby manumitt
liberate and set free from and after the 29.th day of October
1836 my negroe boy Pevey born on 29.th day of October
1815  also I do hereby manumit liberate and set free
from from and after the 6.th day of April 1842 my negroe
boy named Asbury born on the 6.th day of April 1817
