374 possession when they shall respectively arive the males at the age of twenty one and the female at the age of eighteen years Viz ^Hazel^ a negro boy aged twenty Ketty a mulatto girl aged fifteen Ned a mulatto boy aged six Nancy a mulatto aged four Patsey a mulatto aged one year George a mulatto infant son of Louiza Bull Mary a mulatto infant daughter of Patsey Bull And I declare that each of the slaves last above mentioned as they shall respectively arive at the ages aforesaid the males twenty one and the females eighteen years shall from thenceforth be freely and fully discharged from all service to me my executors and administrators forever together with their increase In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the thirteenth of April eighteen hundred and twenty seven Signed & sealed in presence of Gerrard H Snowden Rachel Snowden (seal) Richard P Snowden Rezin H Snowden On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus written to wit State of Maryland Anne Arundel County on the thirteenth of April eighteen hundred and twenty seven came the within named Rachel Snowden before the subscriber a justice of the peace for said county and acknowledged the within Instrument of writing to be her act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof and the act of assembly in such case made and provided Ex.d d.d Acknowledged before Gerrard H Snowden Chd 3¾ Recorded the 17th day of April 1827 To all whom it may concern be it known that I Henry Owens of Anne Arundel County and State of Maryland for (divers) |
