Viz Aaron Rawlings and Phebe Rawlings I do declare
to be henceforth free manumitted and discharged from all
manner of servitude or service to me my executors or
administrators forever   In Testimony hereof I have
hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this tenth day
of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and twenty four
signed sealed and delivered in
presence of   Rich.d Harwood            Dennis H Battee  (seal)
                     R. H. Battee

At the foot of the aforegoing Deed was thus written to wit
Received on the day of the date within mentioned the sum
of five dollars current money it being the full consideration
money within mentioned               Dennis H Battee  (seal)

Anne Arundel County to wit   On this tenth day of June
personally appears Dennis H Battee party to the within
instrument of writing before me the subscriber a Justice
of the peace of the said County and acknowledges the
same to be his act and deed for the purposes within
mentioned and the negroes within named to be
henceforth manumitted and discharged from all
services to him or to any claiming under him and to
be free and manumitted according to the act of
assembly in such case made and provided

Deed of Manumission      To all whom it may Concern
be it known that I Caleb Barry of Anne Arundel County
in the state of Maryland for Divers good Causes and
Considerations me thereunto moving as also in further
Consideration of twenty dollars Current money to me in
hand paid do release from slavery manumit and set
