192. and twenty seven, also my negro man named Robert who is now about the age of Eighteen years who is to receive his freedom on the first day of October eighteen hundred and twenty seven; also my negro boy named Ravadee who is now about the age of Ten years who is to receive his freedom on the first day of October in the year Eighteen hundred and thirty three and also my negro Girl named mary being about the age of thirteen years who together with all her increase is to receive her freedom on the first day of October in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and twenty four and them the said negroes as above named I do declare to be from the respective periods above mentioned free manumitted and discharged from all maner of servitude or service to me my Executors or administrators for ever. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this sixth day of march in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and twenty one Sign'd and seal'd and deliver'd in presents of Henry Williams Elijah Williams (seal) Rhoda Allwell On the back of the aforegoing deed was thus written to wit: Anne Arundel County to wit: On this sixth day of march Eighteen hundred and twenty One personally appears Elijah Williams party to the within instrument of writing before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the State of maryland for the said County and acknowledges the same to be his act and deed for the purposes (within) |
