13 State of Maryland for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving have released from slavery liberated manumitted and set free and by these presents do hereby release from slavery manumit and set free my negro woman named Hannah being of the age of twenty six years and able to work and gain a sufficient livelihood and maintenance to be free and discharged from all claim of service and right of property from me my heirs Executors and administrators or assigns from and after the first day of January in the year Eighteen hundred and thirty three and her the said negro woman named Hannah I do hereby declare to be free manumitted and discharged from all manner of servitude or service to me my heirs Executors administrators or assigns from and after the aforesaid first day of January in the year Eighteen hundred and thirty three and from and after the Executor of this deed all the increase or issue of the said negro woman Hannah male and female. I do hereby release from slavery liberate manumitt and discharge from all right of property or servitude from me my heirs Executors administrators or assigns to be free as they arrive to the age of twenty five years; and the females with their future increase to be free as they respectively arrive to the age of twenty one years In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 27th day of December in the year Eighteen hundred and sixteen Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of Absalom Ridgely (seal) James Hunter Frederick Harwood Rd K Watts |
