103 aged about twelve years to be free on the twenty fifth day of December which shall be in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and thirty one hereby acknowledging the said negroes discharged from all claims of service and and right of property whatsoever from me my heirs Executors or administrators on the several dates above mentioned As Witness my hand and seal this sixth day of march Eighteen hundred and nineteen Signed Sealed and in presence of R Welch of Ben Francis Hancock (seal) James Hunter on the back of the aforegoing deed was thus written to wit: Anne Arundel County sc.t On the sixth day of march in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and nineteen personally appeared before us the subscriber two of the Justices of the peace for the county aforesaid the above named Francis Hancock party to the above instrument of writing who acknowledges the said instrument to be his act and deed and the signature and seal thereto annexed to be respectfully his according to the acts of assembly in such case made and provided Acknowledged before Ex.d R Welch of Ben paid James Hunter 2¾ Recorded the 6th day of march 1819 I John Gibson of anne arundle County and State of maryland do hereby manumit and set free the following negroes purchased of the late Robert Tuite and at the times and periods herein after mentioned viz Janny aged thirty years her freedom to Commence on the first day of January Eighteen hundred and thirty three Kitty aged twenty four years her freedom to Commence the first |
