eight hundred and eleven

On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed to wit
Ann Arundel County to wit
On the 25 day of January 1811 appeared John
Pitts before me the subscriber one of the Justices
of the peace for the County aforesaid and
acknowledged the within instrument of writing
to be his act and deed for the purposes therein
mentioned according to the true intent and
meaning thereof and the act of assembly in
cases made and provided

Maryland ss.t  To all whome these presents
shall come Greeting.  I Henry Hammond
of Anne Arundel County in the state aforesaid
fore divers good causes and considerations me
thareunto moving do hereby declare Free manumate
and enfranchise the negroes following to wit
Hannah aged about twenty six years to be
free on the twenty fifth day of December one
thousen eight hundred and twelve.  Ally
aged about fifteen years to be free on the
twenty fifth day of December one thousen
eight hundred and thirty Thomas aged
about thirteen years to be free on the
