117 me hereby freely acquitted released exonerated & discharged to the said William Philip Henry and Nicholas by these presents. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this 24 day of July 1810 signed sealed & delivered in the presence of Elisha Harrison Ben.tt Darnall (Seal) Isaac Simmons on the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed to wit The state of Maryland Ann Arundel county to wit Be it remembered that on the 24.th day of July 1810 eighteen hundred and ten Bennett Darnall party to the within deed of Manumission appeared before me a Justice of the peace for the county aforesaid and acknowledged the within deed to be his act and deed to and for the purpose therein mentioned and agreeably to the act of assembly in such case made and provided Acknowledged before Henry Childs Recorded 1.st August 1810 To all whom it may concern be it known that I Jonathan Loughlin of Ann Arundel County in the State of Maryland heave released from slavery liberated manumitted and set free and by these presents do hereby release from slavery liberate manumit and set free my negro woman named Charlotte being of the age of about Thirty years and able to work and gain a sufficient livelihood and maint^a^inance and his the said negro woman named |
