free and manumitted as they may respectfully
arrive to the age therein specified and the
act of assembly in such cases made

To all whom it may Concern  Be it known that
I Absalom Ridgely of Ann Arundel County in
the City of Annapolis and in the State of Maryland
for divers good considerations me thereunto
moving as also in further Consideration of
five shillings Current money to me in hand
paid do hereby manumit and declare free
agreeable to the terms herein after specified
to wit, my negro Man named Peter aged
about Twenty nine years to be free on the
tenth day of may in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and Twenty five
hereby declaring and Acknowledging the said
negro Man Peter as aforesaid free and
forever Discharged from all claim of Service
right or property whatsoever from me or any
claiming under me my heirs Executors
administrators or assigns from and after the
                                        expiration
