Araminta Cumming
              to
negroes Robert & Cloe
 To all persons whom these presents

shall Concern I Araminta
Cumming of Ann arundel County do hereby emancipate
and set free and at full Liberty Certain negroes named
Robert and Chloe so that I the said Araminta Cumming
nor any person claiming from by and under me shall
not claim any right or title to the said negroes Robert
and Chloe or any of their increase that shall be born
hereafter the date under written whereunto I have
set my hand and affixed my seal this sixth day of
november in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred

On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed Vizt
Ann Arundel County sct  On the sixth day of november
1800 Came Araminta Cummings before me a Justice
of the peace of the County aforesaid & Acknowledged the
above instrument of writing to be her Act and Deed
according to the true intent and meaning thereof

 To all whom these presents shall

come Greeting  I Rachel Stansbury
of Ann Arundel County in the State of Maryland for
divers good Causes and Considerations me thereunto
moving Do hereby Declare free manumit and
enfranchise the negroes following to wit one negro
woman named Nell to be free the first day of
January in the year eighteen hundred and one one
