Greenbury Ridgely
              to
negro Rebecca
 Know all Men by these presents

that I Greenbury Ridgely of Ann
Arundel County do hereby manumit and set free negro
Rebeccah now in my service after she shall
arrive to the age of twenty nine years being
thirteen years old in June seventeen hundred and
ninety nine from me my heirs Executors or
Assigns and of the said Rebeccah shall have
Children during said Term if males to serve to the
age of twenty five and if Females to the age of
Twenty one years  In witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and Seal this twenty sixth
day of april in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred
Witnesses   Nich.s Watkins      Greenbury Ridgely   (seal)

On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed Viz.t
Ann Arundel County to wit  Then Came Greenbury
Ridgely before me one of the Justices of the peace
for said County and Acknowledged the within
Instrument of writing to be his Act and Deed for
the uses and purposes therein mentioned
April 26th 1800                        Jno Brice
