of writing to be his Act and Deed according to the Acts of
Assembly in such Case made and provided

Mary Norris
           to
Sundry negroes
 I Mary Norris of the County of Ann

Arundel in the State of Maryland
Do hereby set free from bondage my negro Girl
named Rachel when she shall arrive at the Age of
twenty years which will be on the fifteenth day in
the twelfth month Anno Domini one thousand
eight hundred and ten also my other negro Girl
named Rachel when she shall arrive at the age
of twenty years which will be on the fifth day of
the twelfth month Anno Domini one thousand
eight hundred and seventeen and do for myself
my heirs Executors and Administrators release
unto the two said Rachels all my right & claim
whatsoever as to their persons or to any Estate they
may acquire hereby Declaring the two said Rachels
after the above terms absolutely free without any
interruption from me or any person claiming under
me  In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal this fifteenth day of the eleventh month
in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred
and ninety nine

On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed Viz.t
