45 persons or to any Estate may acquire hereby declaring the aforesaid negroes absolutely free without any interruption from me or any persons claiming under me In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this 28 day of May one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine Sealed & Delivered Eleanor E Yieldhall (seal) in presence of Ezekiel Jacob his John IS Sullivan mark On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed Vizt Ann Arundel County to wit On the 28 day of May 1799 Eleanor Yieldhall personally appeared before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace of the County aforesaid and acknowledged the within instrument of writing to be her Act and Deed & the negroes within mentioned to be manumitted and free agreeable to the Act of Assembly in that Case made & provided Allen Quynn Recorded 28 May 1799
day of December next ensuing the date hereof my negro Man named Nick aged about thirty seven years also my negro Man named Cæsar aged about forty years also my negro woman named Hannah aged about thirty seven years also my negro woman named Sook aged about twenty seven (year) |
