Jacob Franklin
           to
negro Dinah
 I Jacob Franklin of the County of

Ann Arundel in the State of Maryland
Do hereby set free from bondatg my negro woman
named Dinah aged about twenty years and do for
myself my heirs Executors and Administrators release
unto teh said Dinah all my right and claims whatever
as to her person or any Estate she may acquire
hereby Declaring the said Dinah absolutely free
without any interruption from me or any person
Claiming under me  In Witness whereof I have
hereunto set my and Seal this twelfth day of March
in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred &
ninety nine

On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed Vizt
On the 12 day of March 1799 Jacob Franklin
acknowledged the within Instrument of writing to
be his Act and Deed according to the true intent &
meaning thereof  Acknowledged before
                                                          Ja.s Disney one
      of the Justices of the peace of Ann Arundel County
Recorded May 27.th 1799
