3 The State of Maryland Anne Arundel County sc I Nicholas Harwood Clerk of Anne Arundel County Court Do Certify that it appears by a deed of Manumission from John THomas to sundry negroes bearing date the seventh day of August one thousand eight hundred and four and recorded among the records of Ann Arundel County Court that a Negro Woman named Camilla Aged about thirty five years at this time was to be free from the date of the said manumission she is about five feet two & a half inches high her Complexion Yellow was raised on herring bay in Ann Arundel County James N Weems of said County made oath before Gideon White a Justice of the peace for the County aforesaid that the said negro woman named Camilla is the Identical person mentioned in the said deed of manumission Issued the 24 July 1806 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County sct I Nicholas Harwood Clerk of Anne Arundel County Court Do hereby Certify that it appears by a deed of manumission from Sarah marshall to negro Nace bearing date the twenty eighth day of may in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred & six and Recorded among the Records of Anne Arundel County Court that negro Nace aged about thirty years at this time was to be free from the date of the said manumission he is about five feet and eight or nine inches high his Complexion black was raised in Anne Arundel (County) |
