7 Recorded amongst the Records of Ann Arundel County Court that negro Jack aged about eighteen years was to be free from the date of the said Deed of Manumission that he is about five feet six and a half Inches high his Complexion yellow was raised on Rhode River in said County Catherine Mackubin of said county made Oath before Gideon White a Justice of the peace for the County aforesaid that the said Negro Jack in the Identical person mentioned in the said Deed of manumission Issued the 14 april 1806 State of Maryland Ann Arundel County sct I Nicholas Harwood Clerk of Ann Arundel County Court Do hereby Certify that it appears by a Deed of manumission from Nathan Waters to Sundry Negroes bearing date the second day of June in the year one thousand seven hundred and ninety and Recorded amongst the Records of ann arundel County Court that negro Lydia aged about fifty five years at this time was to be free from the date of the said manumission that she is about five feet two and a half Inches high her complexion black was raised on Rhode River in said County Catherine Mackubin of said County made Oath before Gideon White a Justice of the peace for the County afs.d that the said Negro Lydia is the Identical person mentioned in the said Deed of manumission Issued 14 april 1806 |
