307. I William Murray of the county of anne arundel in the state of maryland do hereby set free from bondage my negro woman named Lydia aged about twenty seven years and do for myself my executors and administrators release unto the said Lydia all my right and all claim whatsoever as to her person or to any estate she may acquire hereby declaring the Lydia absolutely free without any interruption from me or any person claiming under me: In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this ninth day of may one thousand eight hundred and seven Sealed and delivered in presence of Rich.d Harwood of Rich.d Benjamin Harwood W. Murray (seal) Anne arundel county to wit on the 9.th day of may 1807 william murray personally appeared before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace for the county aforesaid and acknowledged the within instrument of writing to be his act and deed according to law acknowledged before Os.
