283 Ann Arundel County To wit on this 26th day of July 1806 personally appeared mary Wallace party to the within instrument of writing before me the Subscriber a Justice of the peace of the State of Maryland for the said County and Acknowledged the same To be her Act and deed for the purposes within mentioned and the negro Woman within named To be henceforth manumitted & discharged from all services to her or any Claiming under her and To be free and manumitted according to the Act of Assembly in such Cases made and provided Acknowledged before me Henry Hall Dorsey Recorded 30th July 1806 Received 17th august 1795 from free Negro Poll wife of Jacob at Stafler's Ferry for her negro Girl named nan aged about 5 or 6 years which said Girl I sold her last spring As Witness my hand & seal date above Test R Cromwell J.r her margaret or Mary x Bulger (seal) mark Recorded 30 July 1806 |
