275 Eighteen hundred & Six Personally appeared before me one of the Justices of the peace for Baltimore County John Brice Senr who acknowledged the above instrument of writing to be his act and deed for the uses & purposes therein mentioned 2½ Gideon White Recorded the 19th day of april 1806 Exam.d d.d Whereas I Seth Sweetser of the City of Annapolis in anne arundel County and State of Maryland for divers good Causes and Considerations me thereunto moving do hereby declare free manumit & Enfranchize my negro man named George martin Jr (being about the age of Twenty one years) on the twentieth day of March Eighteen hundred and fifteen hereby acknowledging the said negro man George Martin discharged from all claim of Service and right of property whatever from me my heirs Executors & administrators from the said twentieth day of march Eighteen and fifteen.
