in the Eighteen hundred and twenty two negro Betsy
aged about five years to be free in the year Eighteen
Hundred and Seventeen negro Honor aged about two
years to be free in the year Eighteen Hundred and
Nineteen I do declare them and their Issue to
be free at the above time from me my heirs and
assigns forever.  As witness my hand and seal
this nineteenth day of February Eighteen hundred
and Six

On the back of the aforegoing was thus Endorsed Viz
Anne Arundel County To wit  on the nineteenth day
of February Eighteen Hundred and Six Personally
appeared Ceasar Memti part to the within instrument
of writing (before me the Subscriber a Justice of
the peace of the State of Maryland for the County
aforesaid) and acknowledged the same to be his act &
deed and the negroes therein named to be free
as therein Expressed from him his heirs and
assigns forever
