258 Set free and manumit Daniel mahoney have manumitted and set free and forever discharged the said Daniel Mahoney and by these presents do manumit & set free and forever discharge the said Daniel mahoney a yellow man aged about thirty three years and about six feet high. In Witness whereof I the said John Ashton have hereto set my hand & affixed my seal this thirteenth day of August eighteen hundred and five Signed Sealed & delivered In the presence of John Ashton (seal) Thomas Rogerton Burket Qett On the back of the aforegoing was thus Endorsed Vizt Charles County To wit Personally appeared the above named John Ashton the day and year above named before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace for the County aforesaid and acknowledged the above deed of manumission to be his Act and deed and the said Daniel Mahoney to be sett free and forever discharged from Servitude Acknowledged before Thomas Rogerton Recorded the 8.th day of Jan.ry 1808 |
