226 Exam.d To all whom it may concern be it known that I James McCullock administrator debonis non of Elizabeth Sefton of Anne Arundel County in the state of maryland for divers good Causes and Considerations me thereunto moving as also in further Consideration of Eighteen pounds fifteen Shillings Current money to me in hand paid have released from slavery liberated manumitted and set free and by these presents do hereby release from slavery liberate manumit and set free my Negro woman named Bell being of the age of thirty two years and able to work and gain a Sufficient livelihood and maintenance and her the said negro women named Bell I do declare to be henceforth free manumitted and discharged from all manner of Servitude or service to me my Executors or administrators forever. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this thirteenth day of July in the year of lord one thousand eight hundred and five Signed Sealed & delivered In the presence of us James McCullock (seal) Louis Gassaway Lewis Duvall |
