(218) Test my hand and seal thirty twenty six day of January one thousand Eight hundred and five Witness Joseph Selby Charles Pettibone (seal) Henry Duvall Anne Arundel County Sc.t January 26th 1805. Charles Pettibone Personally appeared before me the Subscriber one of the Justices of the peace for the County aforesaid & Acknowledged the within Instrument of writing to be his Act and Deed according to the true intent & meaning thereof Joseph Selby Recorded the 21st of February 1805 Examd Know all men by these Presents that I Araminta Dorsey beleiving liberty & freedom to be the Equal right of all persons do by these presents liberate & Set free from bondage my following negroes on the following terms Viz my negro woman Anna my negro Girl Charlotte my negro mary to be free to all Intent and purposes them & their increase from this date my negro Girl Lucy to be free at the End of Ten years from the date of these presents her & her increase my negro Girl Susanna to be free at the end of thirteen years from this date her and her increase my negro Girl Julianna to be free at the End of fifteen from this date her & her increase my negro Boy William to be free at the End of Twenty three (years) |
