200 hundred and four personally appeared John Hoskin Stone party to the within Instrument of writing before the Subscriber one of the Justices of the peace for the County aforesaid and acknowledged the same to be his act and Deed for the purposes within mentioned and the Negroes within Named to be henceofrth manumitted and discharged from all Services to him or any claiming under him and to be free and manumitted according to the Acts of Assembly in such Case made & provided Acknowledged before Recd 19 Septr 1804 Wm Stewart Exam.d To all whom it may concern be it Known That I Archibald Golder of the City of Annapolis in the State of Maryland for divers good Causes and Considerations me thereunto moving as also in further Consideration of thirty pounds Current money to me in hand paid have released from Slavery liberated manumitted and Set free and by these presents do hereby release from Slavery Liberate Manumit and Set free my negro Woman named Rachel being about the age of twenty eight Years also her son John now nearly four & her Son George one year the 11th of September next and also to work and gain a Sufficient livelihood and maintainance and her |
