16 in the manner and form as abovementioned In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this 30th day of October Anno Domini 1797 Signed Sealed & Delivered in the presence of Tho.s Jenings (Seal) Nich Harwood Thomas Harwood of R.d On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed Viz.t Ann Arundel County sct On the 30 day of October 1797 personally appeared before me the Subscriber one of the Justices of the peace for the County aforesaid the above Named Thomas Jenings party to the above Instrument of writing and Acknowledged the same to be his Act and Deed and the signature & seal thereto annexed to be respectively his Acknowledged before Allen Quynn Recorded 30 October 1797
Negro boy named Jeremiah Aged about twelve years on the twenty third day of November in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and seven and do for myself my Executors and Administrators release unto the aforesaid Jeremiah from the date aforesaid all my right and all Claim whatsoever as to his person or to any Estate he may acquire after the date aforesaid hereby Declaring the aforesaid Jeremiah absolutely free without any interruption from me or any person Claiming under me In witness whereof |
