a Certain Negro woman Named Dinah about forty five years old hereby Declaring the said negro woman to be forever Discharged from all right of ownership heretofore Claimed by me In witness whereof I have hereunto affixed my hand & seal this day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety seven Witness present William Steuart Hellen Scott (Seal) Frederick Scott Ann Arundel County sct October 10.th 1797 Then Came the within named Hellen Scott before me one of the Justices of the peace for the County aforesaid and acknowledged the within Instrument of writing to be her Act and Deed for the purposes therein mentioned Acknowledged before Recorded 10 October 1797 James Mackubin
