131 do declare to be henceforth free manumitted and discharged from all manner of servitude or service to me my executors or administrators forever. In Testimony whereoff I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this the Tenth day of January Eighteen hundred and Three Signed Sealed and delivered J.m Plummer (seal) In the presence off us James Mackubin William Johnson On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed Viz.t Received on the day of the date above mentioned the sum of five shillings current money it being the full consideration money within mentioned Witness James Mackubin J.m Plummer Ann Arundel County Sc.t Be it remembered That on this tenth day of Jan.y Eighteen hundred and Three personally appeared Jerom Plummer party to the within instrument of writing before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the state of maryland for the said County and acknowledges the same to be his act and deed for the purposes within ^mentioned and the negro woman within^ named to be henceforth manumitted and discharged from all services to him or to any claiming under him and to be free and manumitted according to the act of assembly in such cases made and provided acknowledged before Recorded 10th Jany 1803 James Mackubin |
