Know all men by these presents that I Charles
Hammond of Charles of Ann Arundel County
and State of Maryland for divers good causes
and considerations me hereunto moving being
concienciously concerned to give and grant
to the negroes now in my possession Their
freedom and liberty  Do hereby declare them
free from me my heirs and assigns forever
and from all manner of persons whatsoever
in the manner and form following Viz.t
Negro James Negro Ned Negro Fan and
Negro Vachel to be free from the date of this
manumition Negro Amos negro Isaac
negro Calib negro Nan and negro Cate
to be free the Twenty fifth of November
nest ensuing the date of this manumition
negro Deb to be free February the Twentieth in
Eighteen hundred and Five negro George
free in the year Eighteen Hundred and
nine negro Nathan in Eighteen hundred
and Three negro Nack to be free in the year
Eighteen Hundred and seventeen negro Sarah
to be free in the year Eighteen hundred and
seven negro Perry to be free in the year
Eighteen hundred and Twenty Two negro
Nace to be free in the year Eighteen hundred
and Twenty four Negro Robert to be free
in the year Eighteen hundred and Twenty
