William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby Certify that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction, that the bearer hereof
named Ben Snowden aged about twenty two
years about five feet three and an half Inches
high black Complexion, has a scar on the upper
lip, one on the left Cheek and one near the left
temple was free born, and that he was raised
in the County aforesaid
Issued the 5 day of november 1831

Court do hereby Certify, that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Emanuel
Queen aged about Twenty seven years about five feet
Ten Inches high black Complexion, has a small scar
on the left eye brown was free born, and that he was
raised in the County aforesaid
Issued the 8th day of november 1831

proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
named George Toogood aged about forty two
years about five feet ten and an half inches
high black complexion, has a large scar on the
breast, is one of the persons manumitted by John
Sewell by deed dated the fifteenth day of August
in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred
and Eight
