Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1831-1844

Henrietta Willigman aged about seventeen years about
five feet two inches high yellow Complexion has a small
mole on the inside of the left Ear and another on the
chin was free born, and that she was raised in the
County aforesaid
    Issued the 28 day of april 1843


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel County
Court do hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Elijah Parker aged
about twenty three years about five feet Eight and three
quarter Inches high dark Complexion no perceptible mark
was free born and that he was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 2d day of may 1843


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel County
Court do hereby Certify that it hath been proved to
my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named William
Harrison aged about twenty one years about five
feet seven and a half Inches high black Complexion
has a small scar on the upper lips and one on the
forehead was free born, and that he was raised
in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 23d day of may 1843


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel County
Court do hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Sarah Johnson
aged about forty two years about five feet three Inches
high dark Complexion has a small scar on the forehead
is one of the persons manumitted by Elijah Pennington by
deed dated the twenty first day of march in the year of our
Lord one thousand Eight hundred and twenty five and that she
was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 29 day of may 1843
