Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1831-1844

Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby Certify that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the Bearer hereof
named Frank Sims aged about twenty two years
about five feet four and a quarter inches high dark
Complexion has a small scar on the back of the right
hand near the wrist was free born and that he
was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 19th day of april 1841


Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby Certify that it hath
been proved to my satisfaction that the Bearer
hereof named Polly Gibson aged about forty
nine years about five feet one and a half inches
high dark Complexion has no perceptible
marks is one of the persons manumitted by
William Brewer by deed dated the seventh
day of april in the year Eighteen hundred
and twenty five and that she was raised in the
County aforesaid
    Issued the 19th day of april 1841


Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit    I William
S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel County Court do hereby
Certify that it hath been proved to my satisfaction
that the Bearer hereof named Sally Gibson aged about
fifteen years about five feet and half an inch high
dark Complexion has no perceptible marks was
free born and that she was raised in the
County aforesaid
    Issued the 19th day of april 1841
