Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1831-1844

    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne
Arundel County Court do hereby Certify that it hath
been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof named William Allen aged about twenty
five years about five feet five Inches high brown
Complexion has a scar on the left instep was free
born, and that he was raised in the County
aforesaid
    Issued the 28 day of September 1839


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby Certify that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
named Mary Burgess aged about twenty four
years about five feet three Inches high dark
complexion has a scar on the right arm was free
born and that she was raised in the County
aforesaid
    Issued the 1 day of october 1839


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby Certify that it hath
been proved to my satisfaction that the
Bearer hereof named Ally Offer aged about
seventeen years about five feet three and a
quarter inches high yellow Complexion
has no perceptible marks was free born
and that She was raised in the County
aforesaid
    Issued the 29th day of October 1839
