hereof named John C Gaither aged about twenty one
years about five feet ten Inches high dark Complexion
has no perceptible mark was free born and that
he was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 14 day of September 1839


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby Certify that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named
Benjamin Gaither aged about twenty two years about
five feet Eight inches high brown Complexion has
no perceptible mark was free born and that he
was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 10 day of September 1839


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel County
Court do hereby Certify that it hath been proved to
my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Charlotte
Hall aged about Eighteen years about five feet one
Inch high brown Complexion has a small scar on
the left wrist was free born and that she was raised
in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 11 day of September 1839


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit:   I William
S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel County Court Do hereby
certify that it hath been proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof named Nelly Derby aged
about twenty three years about four feet Eleven
Inches high brown Complexion has lost two of his
upper front teeth is one of the persons manumitted
by Aaron Welch by deed dated the seventh day of
June in the year Eighteen hundred and twenty and
that she was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 24 day of September 1839
