Darky or Dorcas Boston

county court do hereby certify,
that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named
Darky or Dorcas Boston aged about thirty five years
about five feet one inch high brown complexion
has a small scar on the back of the right hand is
one of the persons manumitted by William Matthews
by deed dated the Eighth day of March in the year
of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and seventeen,
and that she was raised in the County aforesaid
Issued the 26th day of November 1831

named Anna Matthews aged about twenty six
years about five feet one and a half inches high
dark complexion, has a scar on the back of the
left hand is one of the persons manumitted by
John Chew Thomas by deed dated the third day of
February in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight
hundred and ten and that she was raised in
the County aforesaid
