free born, and that he was raised in the County
aforesaid
        Issued the 22d day of November 1831




John Matthews
     Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby certify that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction, that the bearer hereof
named John Matthews, aged about Twenty six years
about five feet eleven inches high brown complexion,
has the second and third fingers of both hands Joined
together is one of the persons manumitted by William
Matthews by deed dated the eighth day of March
in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred
and seventeen, and that he was raised in the County
aforesaid
    Issued the 26th day of November 1831




Milly Matthews
     Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit:
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby Certify that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
named Milly Matthews aged about twenty two
years about five feet three inches high brown
complexion, has several small scars on the right
wrist, is one of the persons manumitted by William
Matthews by deed dated the Eighth day of March in
the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred
and seventeen and that she was raised in the county
aforesaid
    Issued the 26th day of November 1831

    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel
