99 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro Boy named John aged about twelve years about four feet nine Inches high, Dark complexion with a scar upon the right foot was free born; and that the said Boy named John was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 30th day of May 1817 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County sc. I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Rousby aged about twenty one years about five feet seven Inches high dark Complexion a small scar on the back of the left hand is the same person manumitted by Leonard Scott by deed dated the ninth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and five; and that the said negro man named Rousby was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 2d day of June 1817 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc. I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Sarah aged about fifteen years about five feet one and a quarter inches high dark complexion no perceptible mark was free born and that the said negro Sarah was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 2nd day of June 1817 |
