89 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County sc. I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof Richard Downs aged about twenty four years about five feet three and an half Inches high brown complexion with the little finger of the left hand stiff in the middle joint and the great toe on each foot double, was free born; and that the said Robert Downs was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 3d day of September 1816 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named John Queen aged about nineteen years about five feet eight inches high of a brown complexion with a small scar upon the little finger of the left hand was free born and that the said John Queen was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 17.th day of September 1816 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc. I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Jacob West aged ab out forty four years about five feet nine inches high of a yellowish complexion no perceptible mark is the same person manumitted by Amelia Gold by deed dated the twenty fifth day of April eighteen hundred and sixteen and that the said negro man jacob West was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 17th day of September 1816 |
