70 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County sc I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Priss aged about twenty seven years about five feet one Inch high black complexion with a scar upon the left arm just above the wrist another between the eyes and has four toes on each foot is the same person manumitted by James N Weems by deed dated the twenty seventh day of May in the year one thousand Eight hundred and Eight that her freedom commenced on the first day of January Eighteen hundred and ten; and that the said negro woman named Priss was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 1.st day of November 1815 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County sc I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a yellow woman named Fanny aged about twenty two years about five feet three and an half Inches high light complexion with a large scar under the right Ear is the same person manumitted by James N Weems by deed dated the twenty seventh day of May in the year one thousand Eight hundred and Eight that her freedom commenced on the first day of August Eighteen hundred and fourteen; and that the said woman named Fanny was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 1.st day of November 1815 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc.t I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Ned Parker aged about twenty |
