Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1810-1831

that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that
the bearer hereof named Edward Court aged about
twenty three years about five feet Eleven and an
half Inches high bright Complexion has a scar
on the left arm was free born, and that he was
raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 14th day of April 1829


Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit   I William
S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel County Court do
hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Nicholas
aged about Forty years about five feet Eight
inches high black Complexion has a scar over
each eye is the Identical person manumitted
by Eliza Hood by deed dated the seventh day of
March in the year of our lord one thousand
Eight hundred and seventeen and that he was
raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 18th day of April 1829


Maryland Anne Arundel County To wit:
        I William S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel County
Court do hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Abraham
Janes aged about forty Eight years about five feet
Eight inches high black complexion has no perceptible
mark is the identical person manumitted by James
Pryor by deed dated the twenty sixth day of
January in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight
hundred and twenty five, and that he was raised
in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 31st day of April 1829
