Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1810-1831

    Maryland Anne Arundel County To wit:
              I William S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby Certify, that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named
Stephen Johnson  aged about Forty two years about
five feet and a half Inches high dark complexion
has a scar on the left arm is one of the persons manumitted
by Lucy Harwood by deed dated the seventeenth
day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand
Eight hundred and twenty three and that he was
raised in the City County aforesaid
    Issued the 14th day of March 1829


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby Certify that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
named Charles aged about twenty two years about
five feet three Inches high dark Complexion has a
small scar under his left ear and another on his
breast was free born and that he was raised in
the County aforesaid
    Issued the 30th day of march 1829


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit:   I William
S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel County Court do hereby
Certify that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof named Isaac Parker aged about Twenty
three years, about five feet Eleven Inches high black
Complexion has a scar on the left arm was free born
and that he was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 6th day of April 1829


       Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit   I William
S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel County Court do hereby
