25 complexion is the same person named in a deed of manumission executed by Gideon White on the seventeenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and four and that her freedom commenced on the seventh day of June in the year one thousand eight hundred and twelve and that the said woman named Eleanor was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 13.th day of August 1812 Anne Arundel County sc. I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman called Rachel Dorsey about thirty six years of age, five feet two and an half Inches high of a brown complexion, with several small scars upon the right arm is the same person manumitted by Archibald Golder by deed dated the fourth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and four, and that the said Rachel Dorsey was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 28th day of August 1812 Anne Arundel County to wit: I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a Negro man named Robert Boston aged about twenty six years, about five feet seven Inches high of a dark brown complexion, with a scar upon the left leg, and a small scar upon the back of the neck was free born; and that the said Robert Boston was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 10th day of September 1812 |
