24 Anne Arundel County to wit: I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named James Turner aged about twenty two years about five feet seven and an half inches high of a light complexion with a small scar on the back of the left leg was free born and raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 1.st day of August 1812 Anne Arundel County Sc. I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Aaron aged about twenty six years about five feet seven inches high of a brown complexion with a scar upon the first and second fingers of the right hand is the same person manumitted by Mordecai Stewart by deed dated the fifth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety one and that his freedom commenced on the first day of January one thousand eight hundred and eleven, and that the said negro man named Aaron was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 7th day of August 1812 Anne Arundel County to wit: I Hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Eleanor about forty three years of age about four feet eleven inches high of a dark brown |
