Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1810-1831

    Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit
              I hereby Certify to all whom it doth
or may concern that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named
Mary Parker aged about thirty Eight years
about five feet one and an half Inch high
black Complexion a small scar on the left
cheek bone, was free born and raised in the
County aforesaid
    Issued the 6th day of September 1826


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I hereby Certify to all whom it
doth or may concern that it hath been proved
to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
named Richard Elliott aged about forty
two years about five feet five Inches high
black Complexion a small scar on the
forehead and another on the Calf of the
right leg is the Identical person manumitted
by Frederick Wells by deed dated the
ninth day of September in the year of our
Lord one thousand Eight hundred and
twenty six and that he was raised in the
County aforesaid
    Issued the 9th day of September 1826


    Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit
              I hereby Certify to all whom it doth
or may concern that it hath been proved to
