my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro
woman named Rhoda aged about thirty three
years about five feet high brown Complexion
has a large scar upon the right side of the
face and has lost the right hand is one of the
persons manumitted by Martha P Childs by
deed of manumission dated the fifteenth day of
June in the year of our Lord one thousand
Eight hundred and twenty two, that her
freedom Commenced on the first day of January
Eighteen hundred and twenty six and that she
was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 2d day of may 1826


    Maryland, Anne Arundel County sc
              I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or
may concern that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Joe
Queen aged about twenty one years about six
feet high black Complexion no perceptible
mark was free born and raised in the County
aforesaid
    Issued the 11th day of May 1826


    Maryland Anne Arundel County sc   I hereby
Certify to all whom it doth or may Concern that
it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof named Kitty aged about Twenty
six years about five feet four Inches high
black Complexion a small scar near the Corner
of the left eye and another on the left arm near
the Elbow is the Identical person manumitted
