    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
          I hereby Certify to all whom it doth
or may concern that it hath been proved to
my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named
Sarah Butler aged about twenty Eight years
about five feet high very bright Complexion
long straight hair has no perceptible mark is the
Identical person manumitted by John Claude
and Dennis Claude by deed dated the fourteenth
day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand
Eight hundred and twenty three, and that
she was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 13th day of October 1825


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit  I hereby Certify
to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath
been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
named Susan Smith (now Susan Stewart) aged
about twenty nine years about five feet high
light Complexion has a scar upon the right side
of the neck is the Identical person manumitted
by Job Fowler by deed dated the Eighteenth day
of November in the year one thousand Eight
hundred and fifteen, and that she was raised
in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 13th day of October 1825


Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit  I hereby
Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath
been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a
negro woman named Such aged about thirty one
years about five feet five Inches high black complexion
a small scar upon the back of the left hand is one of
