22 thirty Eight years of a brownish Complexion about five feet one and an half Inches high with a small scar upon the forehead and another upon the right hand is the same person manumitted by Mason L Weems by deed dated the seventh day of November in the year one thousand Eight hundred; and that the said Nicholas Duffin was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 8th day of May 1812 Anne Arundel County ss I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro boy named William aged about fifteen years about four feet seven and an half Inches high of a dark brown Complexion with a small scar near the left eye brow was free born and raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 11th day of May 1812 Anne Arundel County to wit: I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Thomas aged about twenty seven years about five feet four Inches and an half high of a brown complexion and very much marked in the face by the small pox, is the same person named in a deed of manumission Executed by Elizabeth Selby in the year Eighteen hundred and one and that his freedom commenced in the year Eighteen hundred and Eight, and that the said negro man named Thomas was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 26 day of May 1812 Anne Arundel County to wit: I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been |
