Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I
hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named William Hicks aged about twenty two years about five feet six Inches high dark Complexion a small scar near the Corner of the right eye is the Identical person manumitted by Ann H Plummer by deed dated the twenty sixth day of march Eighteen hundred and twenty four and that he was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 21 day of may 1825 Maryland Anne Arundel County sc I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Edward Prout aged about twenty seven years about five feet six Inches high dark Complexion, a small scar between the eyes and another in the right eye brow, was free born, and raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 23d day of may 1825 Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit: I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Henny aged about Thirty one years about four feet nine and an half Inches high brown Complexion a small scar on the right arm, is the Identical person who obtained his freedom in Anne Arundel County Court at October Term Eighteen hundred and twenty four by Petition against William Woodfield and that she was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 24th day of may 1825 |
