manumitted by John Merriken by deed dated the fourteenth day of march in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Eleven that his freedom Commenced in the year Eighteen hundred and twenty two, and that she was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 2d day of October 1824 Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit: I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Henry maynard aged about sixteen years about five feet four Inches high black Complexion has a small scar on the forefinger of the left hand, was free born and raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 27 day of October 1824 Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Rezin Prout aged about Eighteen years about five feet seven and an half Inches high dark Complexion has a small scar on the right side of his face near the mouth, was free born and raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 29 day October 1824 Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named |
