complexion has a scar on his right wrist
one near the first Joint of his right thumb
one on the back of the right hand and
another on the inside of the left arm is one
of the persons manumitted by Charles Pettebone
by deed dated the 26th day of January one
thousand Eight hundred and five that
his freedom Commenced on the twenty fifth
day of December one thousand Eight hundred
and twenty three, and that he was raised
in the County aforesaid
        Issued the 7th day of September 1824


    Maryland Anne Arundel County sc    I hereby
Certify to all whom it doth or may concern
that it hath been proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof named Nancy Bayly
aged about twenty six years about five feet
high brown Complexion no perceptible marks
was free born, and raised in the County
aforesaid
    Issued the 20th day of september 1824


    Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit:
               I hereby Certify to all whom it doth
or may concern that it hath been proved
to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a
negro woman named Kitty aged about
twenty two years about five feet four and
an half Inches high black Complexion
no perceptible mark is the Identical person
